素食之旅 牛油果胡萝卜寿司卷

材料



1 cup sushi rice (or brown rice)

一碗寿司米饭


2 tablespoons rice vinegar两勺寿司醋


1 tablespoon evaporated cane sugar一勺红糖


½ teaspoon sea salt半勺海盐



 (6-ounce) block gluten-free baked tofu, cut into thin matchsticks一块烤过的无麸质豆腐切成细条


½ ripe avocado, peeled and cut into thin segments一半熟透的牛油果,切片


½ red or orange bell pepper, cut into thin matchsticks一半黄彩椒,切成细条


1 carrot, cut into long strips一根胡萝卜切成长条


1 Persian (or ¼ English) cucumber, halved and cut into thin strips一根黄瓜切成细条


4 toasted nori sheets, halved4张考过的海苔,对半分开


2 tablespoons wasabi powder mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional)喜欢芥末的可以适量加点芥末哦


½ cup pickled ginger适量腌过的姜片



½ cup vegan mayonnaise半杯素食的沙拉酱



2 teaspoons tamari两勺酱油


2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated两勺姜末


2 teaspoons rice vinegar两勺寿司醋


1 teaspoon brown rice syrup

¼ teaspoon sea salt小半勺海盐


¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper少量磨碎的黑胡椒


1.Cook rice according to package directions. When cooked, transfer to a large bowl. With a wooden paddle, incorporate vinegar, sugar, and sea salt into rice until slightly sticky. Set aside to cool.将煮好的米饭盛到大碗中,与上面提到过的醋,糖,海盐混合到米饭有粘性,放凉备用



2.Arrange tofu, avocado, bell pepper, carrot, and cucumber on a plate within easy reach.把上面准备好的豆腐,牛油果,胡萝卜,黄瓜放到盘子里备用。



3.Place 1 piece nori (shiny-side down) in one hand. With dampened other hand, spread about ¼ cup cooked sushi rice evenly over half the nori in a square.将海苔放到一只手上,另一只手沾湿取适量混合好的米饭平铺满海苔的一半


4.Place small amount of desired fillings in a diagonal line across rice, pointing toward thumb.沿海苔斜对角放入准备好的配菜


5.Gently roll into a cone shape and seal edge with a few grains of sushi rice or with prepared wasabi (if using). Serve with ginger.轻柔的将海苔卷起,用一些米饭将封口黏住,或者用一点芥末也可以。


6.Whisk mayonnaise, tamari, ginger, vinegar, brown rice syrup, sea salt, and pepper in a bowl until uniform.将沙拉酱,酱油,醋,海盐 黑胡椒混合


7.Drizzle sauce over hand rolls and serve with pickled ginger and wasabi.可以将以上酱汁撒到我们的寿司卷上,配上腌姜片和芥末我们就能开动啦!



▲Tip:  Don’t overstuff your sushi! It’s a beginner’s mistake to get overzealous and fill your hand roll to the brim. You’ll make it very difficult to seal and eat.
